Distributed scanning just got easier with the introduction of the Inofile interface for the Fujitsu ScanSnap fi-6010N. Inofile allows you to scan and index a document on the iScanner prior to upload directly into RADIX, PaperVision, ImageSilo, or iChambers for retrieval.

How simple is it? The intuitive interface uses the integrated keyboard and touch screens customized for Digitech systems to direct an un-trained user through the scanning, indexing and completion process. After scanning the document on the IP connected iScanner, the user is presented with the indexing fields for the selected project. Indexing is completed using the scanner’s touch screen and keyboard.

After indexing, the document is transferred for immediate retrieval. Files are never stored on local servers or the scanner, eliminating compliance issues regarding personal information and HIPAA policies. Users scanning files at remote locations for Accounting, Human Resources, Student Records or Medical Records are perfect candidates for Inofile.
